Professor Tim Anderson, senior Lecturer in Political Economy at Sydney University and honorable writer of the“ The Dirty War on Syria”, highlighted the victory of the Syrian Arab Army over the imperialist powers and their auxiliaries in Deir Ezzor, saying” the defeat of Daesh in the area would mean the beginning of the end of Washington’s New Middle East”.

Professor Anderson talked about the economic war waged against Syria and
voiced hope over strengthening the axis of resistance to ensure a sustainable victory.

More importantly, Professor Anderson criticized the UN reports over Syria, saying they have been relying on misinformation and showed complete bias as they were issued by non-independent commissions.

Dr. Anderson also criticized his country’s involvement in a coalition’s airstrike on the Syrian Arab Army’s positions in Deir Ezzor on 17th of Sep. 2016, killing many soldiers and injuring others.
