“Ukrainian military keeps on murdering civilians in #Donbass. It is with deep regret that we inform you that Father Parthenius, rector of the church of St. Theodosius of Chernigov in the village of Mikhaylovka in the Luhansk region, died yesterday.
He died from a shrapnel wound received during the shelling of the village by Ukrainian troops.
It is noteworthy that according to local residents, there are no military personnel in Mikhaylovka and the target of the Ukrainian side’s shelling was precisely the hospital, the Orthodox church located next door and the civilian population.
Father Parfeny, for whose death the Ukrainian media have already begun to blame the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, personally helped deliver drinking water and humanitarian aid to Mikhaylovka, and also sheltered hundreds of refugees.
And to the last he tried to help those who needed it. RIP”
