Yesterday, I shared a well-written comment by Mark Taliano on terrorism in Syria:
“Syrians living beneath the real threat of terrorists and terror bombs have NO PROBLEM identifying all of the terrorists as terrorists. They do not differentiate between terror groups. They’re all terrorists/Daesh. Very simple. These Syrian victims KNOW the truth. They don’t need to think about it. But Westerners do not have to live in areas targeted by terrorists, so Westerners can form all sorts of rationales and justifications, and pretend that some terrorists are moderate or good and others are not. The Westerners are living in a false reality protected from terror, so they make things up and buy the lies, something they would not do if they had to live in areas targeted by terrorists as many Syrians do. It’s very shameful.”
